Recent Promotions at HealthEOS

Pat Phillips

Pat is Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience in the medical field. His clinical experience includes, medical/surgical, intensive cardiac care, emergency room and adult psychiatric nursing.

Past positions include Occupational Health Nursing Consultant where he was responsible for the health/wellness needs of two large Wisconsin manufacturing companies at their seven area Wisconsin sites.

As a Nurse Consultant/Ergonomic Specialist, he was responsible for medical case management and early return to work programs focusing on analysis and prevention of cumulative trauma injuries for a multi-state workers’ compensation carrier.

He joined HealthEOS (formerly WPPN) in 1993 as Vice President of Network Operations, Marketing and Sales. His responsibilities included development and maintenance of multi-state preferred provider network. He developed and managed a statewide-managed care chiropractic program and was responsible for direct marketing and sales of network products.

He also implemented and was responsible for all Quality Management programs and oversaw the provider credentials program ensuring compliance with AAHCC/URAC standards.

His current position is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing where his primary responsibilities include working with Business Coalitions and overseeing the HealthEOS Sales Team.

Pat and his wife Julie enjoy travel, golf and boating.

Christene Toliver

Christene has been with Health EOS since November 2002 as an Account Manager and was recently promoted to Director of Client Services.

Prior to this, Christene has over 13 years experience working within the fully insured and self funded health insurance markets.

Christene and her husband are avid outdoors people. They enjoy traveling, hunting, fishing, hiking and biking.

Robin King

Robin, the newest addition to HealthEOS, started on December 3rd, 2002. She, as an account manager, is responsible for maintaining current relationships with clients, brokers, and TPA’s.

Robin has over twenty years of combined experience in both the medical and insurance fields.

She was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She has a 12-year-old son and enjoys fishing, reading, and classical music.

Lynn Karcz

Lynn has worked in the health care industry for the past 20 years. Prior to coming to HealthEOS, she was the President of American Dental Professional Services, a dental administrative organization located in Milwaukee.

Lynn has a bachelor’s degree in Business Science from Cardinal Stritch University.

Lynn says her two favorite people in the world are her daughters Amy (9 years old), and Kyla (11 years old).

Jodi Nero

Jodi joined the HealthEOS team in October of 2002 as the Provider Relations Coordinator working directly with the state of Michigan. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining new business relationships with Michigan providers and hospitals for MultiPlan/WPPN.

Her prior experience was primarily with a local TPA, where she held various positions in the Claims department and managed the provider file area. She also developed and maintained the PPO networks in the western area of the county as an account manager.

In her spare time Jodi teaches swimming lessons to pre-school children and her hobbies include reading and collecting antiques. Jodi recently relocated from her native town of Green Bay to Luxemburg where she lives with her significant other, Jevon.

Curt Vandertie

Curt has been with HealthEOS for over 6 1/2 years. In his current position as Regional Vice President of Business Development, he is responsible for establishing new business relationships across the country with Third Party Administrators, Employer Coalitions and other Clients, by selling the HealthEOS products, which includes CareEngine Services.

He had served 2 years as an Account Manager where he maintained Client, Broker, TPA, and Coalition relationships through implementation, cross sales, and service.

In 2000, Curt developed and managed a Client Services Department as the Director of Client Services. His responsibilities included interviewing, hiring and training new Account Managers, building relationships with HealthEOS Clients, developing and executing new marketing strategies, acting as the liaison between Sales and Operations, and ensuring proper implementation of all HealthEOS programs.

Curt is actively involved in his community as a volunteer firefighter and part time EMT. His hobbies include camping, hunting, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and crop farming. A native of Door County, Curt resides in the small town of Brussels (WI), with his wife, Sarah.
